About

The Devonshire Dementia Care Home & Day Centre is a care home in New Malden, Kingston upon Thames, with 34 registered beds. It specialises in dementia and also runs a day centre and a Day Guest programme for people not yet ready for residential care. The home has provided dementia care for more than 36 years, and some families travel from further away when a relative's condition has progressed beyond what a previous home could manage. Residents take part in arts and crafts, music sessions and celebrations, and a free singing and coffee morning runs each Wednesday from 10:30am to 12:30pm, open to anyone, whatever their singing ability. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Outstanding overall in its 2026 report. Its key-question grades were Outstanding for Effective and Responsive, and Good for Safe, Caring and Well-led.
