A small, dedicated team that has lived the care-home search first-hand — and built the service we wished we’d had.
Having struggled through the care-home search herself, Janet was determined to find a better way. She saw that while most homes have a website, it’s still far too hard to quickly compare what they actually offer without investing huge time and effort. Convinced the process could be made simpler with detailed, impartial, user-friendly information, she brought 20 years of corporate experience to AskBart and joined as CEO.
A care-home expert and one of our earliest team members, Claire writes the informative, engaging articles you’ll find across the blog. Years in the industry mean she understands the challenges families face — and she’s dedicated to giving readers genuinely useful insight.
When she’s not writing, Claire enjoys farmers’ markets and life with her two young children. If you have a question about the blog or finding the right home, she’s always up for a chat.
