About

The Hermitage is a residential care home in the centre of Whittlesey, on the outskirts of Peterborough, at 6–12 St Marys Street. Owned by The Hermitage Whittlesey LLP, it has been a family business since 1982 and has 24 registered beds. It supports people who can no longer live independently in their own homes, with care, wellbeing and social activities as its main priorities. Residents can spend time in the patio and garden, and a range of activities is offered throughout the day.

The Care Quality Commission rates The Hermitage Good overall, with Good ratings for being safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led (report published 2025).
