Tall Trees is a modern, purpose-built care home with 48 registered beds, in a quiet residential area close to Colchester town centre in Essex. It provides nursing, dementia and end of life care for older people, on either a short-term respite or a permanent basis. Staff have completed advanced dementia training that helps them understand what living with dementia may feel like.
Residents can take part in group and one-to-one activities or help around the home, with activities adapted to each person. The home has a garden, a conservatory and a minibus for outings, and church services are held on site. A café session on Tuesdays from 11am to 12.30pm offers home-baked treats.
