St Columba's Care Home is a newly refurbished home in Dundee, close to the town centre and set in gardens. It has 54 registered beds, with single en suite bedrooms, and provides residential and nursing care for older people, including those with dementia, as well as palliative care.
Memory Lane, on the ground floor, is a street of rooms themed on old Dundee and the Lochee community, developed with residents, families and staff. It includes a hair salon, a bar, a library, a tea room and a sweet shop, and helps residents keep using services they used before moving in. The large rear garden has raised flowerbeds and sheltered seating that wheelchair users can reach easily. The Care Inspectorate graded wellbeing support Good, care planning Good, setting Very good, staff team Good and leadership Good.
