About
Oak Farm is a 32-bed nursing home in Taverham, about five miles from Norwich. It supports older people, younger adults under 65 and people with physical disabilities, and its rehabilitation work includes people with acquired brain injury. The building is wheelchair accessible throughout and offers a range of specialist treatment and activity facilities. Care packages are shaped around each person's needs and delivered by a multidisciplinary team spanning nursing, medicine, rehabilitation, therapy, psychology and neurology. Staff receive in-house training, NVQ training and regular supervision, and outside neurology and brain injury specialists are invited to contribute to training.
The Care Quality Commission rates Oak Farm Requires Improvement overall, in its 2025 report. Its key questions are graded Good for effective, caring and responsive care, and Requires Improvement for safe care and well-led.
