Muirfield Nursing Home is in the village of Gullane, East Lothian, and has 60 registered beds. The home opened in 2017, and its newer building stands just around the corner from the original Muirfield home. Rooms are offered in standard, premium and deluxe options, with either an ensuite bathroom or a wet room, and each includes a private TV, telephone, internet access and a nurse call system.
Meals are prepared by the home's chef and team, and the menu changes every four weeks, with fresh produce sourced from across Scotland where possible. Staff plan structured activities to keep residents mentally and physically active, and residents' suggestions for new activities are considered.
