About

Fidra House is a purpose-built nursing home in North Berwick, East Lothian, set in leafy grounds close to the centre of the coastal town. Its 60 single bedrooms are spread across three floors, each with an ensuite shower, internet access, a telephone, a nurse call system and a wall-mounted television. The home offers nursing, dementia and respite care, with support provided around the clock, and it has landscaped gardens.

Meals are cooked on site from fresh ingredients, sourced in Scotland where possible, and the menu changes monthly. The home says it allocates twice the hours to activities that the Care Inspectorate officially recommends. The Care Inspectorate graded the home's wellbeing support, care planning, setting, staff team and leadership each as Very good.
