About
Merriman Grange is a care home in the seaside town of Worthing, West Sussex, set at the foot of the South Downs between Chichester and Brighton. It provides residential, nursing, dementia and respite care, with 85 registered beds and support available around the clock. Residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible, with care tailored to each individual and regular GP visits and community nursing support.
A dedicated dementia community includes reminiscence areas, where memorabilia and objects of interest are used to prompt memories, and activities are planned around each resident's interests. Rooms have an ensuite wet room and, on the ground and lower-ground floors, direct access to a private patio. Shared spaces include a café-bar, a cinema, a hair and beauty salon and a private dining room, with landscaped gardens around the building.
