About

Jubilee House is a nursing home in the seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire, and forms part of the Saint Cecilia's group. It has 27 registered beds, and every bedroom is ensuite, with some at the front overlooking the sea. An ongoing £250,000 investment programme is modernising the bedrooms and shared areas. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Good overall in its 2025 report, and Good for each of its key questions.

Residents have a lounge and a dining room, where meals are prepared from locally sourced ingredients and adapted to individual dietary needs. A large garden lies at the front of the building, and the West Cliff is a short walk away. Each resident's care is based on a plan drawn up with them and their family, and reviewed regularly. Activities include music, games, visiting entertainers and minibus outings, and a hairdresser visits the home.
