About
Braeburn Home is a registered charity in a quiet residential area of Edinburgh, close to the Royal Botanical Gardens. It provides residential, nursing, respite and dementia care, including support for frailty and end-of-life care. The home has 17 bedrooms, each freshly decorated before a new resident moves in and furnished with profiling beds. Residents may bring their own furniture if it fits and care can still be given safely. The 1800s building has a recently renovated dining room, two sitting rooms and a large garden that residents are supported to visit in warmer months.
The Care Inspectorate has graded the home Good for how well people's wellbeing is supported, how well care and support is planned, its setting, its staff team and its leadership.
