Yr Hafan Nursing Home is a detached house in Swansea, in a secluded setting with a summer house at the rear and an outside seating area at the front. Once a police station, it has been renovated for residential care and provides nursing and dementia care for 26 men and women over the age of 45. Residents can take part in birthday and Christmas celebrations, a summer barbecue, and visits from musicians, singers and dancers, along with regular pet therapy sessions. Activities include reminiscence, singing, games, plant care and making party decorations, and residents help plan them at regular meetings.
