What inspectors found
CQC: GoodReport published 20 October 2021 · Last inspected 6 September 2021
Inspectors found that residents felt safe and enjoyed living at this 24-person care home, with safeguarding training up to date, environmental risks managed and medicines handled in line with national guidance. Quality monitoring was in place, and interim management plus regional support were arranged after the registered manager left around the time of the visit. Staff reportedly had confidence in the management team, and people were supported to make choices in the least restrictive way possible.
- Residents and relatives said people felt safe and liked living there
- Safeguarding training was up to date and staff were trained in it
- Medicines were managed safely in line with national guidance
- Improvements since the last inspection meant the provider was no longer in breach of regulations
- The registered manager left around the time of the inspection, so the service relied on interim management arrangements
