About
Wing View is a care home in the village of Wing, a short walk from the centre and just outside Leighton Buzzard in Central Bedfordshire. The home has 75 bedrooms, each with an en-suite wet room, and provides residential, nursing and dementia care. The rooms have been refurbished, and residents are encouraged to bring personal belongings to make them their own. Many overlook the green spaces, and shared lounges offer places to sit or receive visitors.
Activities are led by a dedicated coordinator and include arts, music, gentle exercise and community events, with reminiscence sessions to support residents living with dementia. Meals are cooked on site each day, and menus can be adapted to individual dietary needs. The home also takes part in Trust in Bloom, a scheme that promotes outdoor spaces supporting wellbeing.
