Westfield House has cared for older people in Charnwood since 1963. As a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity, it reinvests in the home, its staff and its volunteers. The home is registered to provide dementia care, and staff follow person-centred principles, treating each resident as an individual with their own interests, preferences and needs. Set in central Loughborough, it has 31 beds: 19 rooms have a wash basin, and 12 are en suite with a wash hand basin and WC. Residents have access to gardens with sensory plants and seating areas, and activities are organised monthly, with family and friends welcome to take part.
