Waungron Mansion Residential Care Home is in Whitland, Pembrokeshire, in a former Georgian gentleman's residence that was later run as a country hotel. The home has provided care since 1993 and has 15 registered beds for residential and dementia care. Most of its single rooms have en-suite facilities, call systems and smoke detectors. Rooms come furnished, and residents are welcome to bring their own belongings.
Residents can eat in the main dining room or in their rooms, and two lounges are available during the day. Meals are cooked freshly on site, special diets are catered for, and vegetables from the garden are used when in season. Staff encourage residents to stay independent and active according to their abilities.
