Treforys Care Home is a dementia care home in Morriston, within the City and County of Swansea, near the Mumbles and the Gower Peninsula coastline. It provides nursing and dementia care and has 38 registered beds. The home opened in 2016, and its bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
The ground floor has several shared rooms. The dining room has large panoramic windows that let in natural light through the day, and there is a separate television area. A beach-themed lounge opens onto the dementia sensory garden, and residents can also use an enclosed garden. The Registered Manager, Ryan Port, joined the home in 2017 and became manager in December 2021, and a Clinical Lead leads the nursing team. The Care Inspectorate Wales graded the home's care and support Excellent, its leadership and management Excellent, its well-being Good and its environment Good.
