The Vale Residential Care Home is a dementia care home with 28 registered beds, run by Charing Healthcare on Willington Street in Maidstone, Kent. It is close to the town's High Street and to the 450-acre Mote Park. The manor-style building has a secluded garden with a patio and a conservatory that extends onto a quiet cul-de-sac. Facilities include a large dining room, two lounges, a lift and a hairdressing room. Ensuite rooms are available.
Meals are served three times a day, with snacks and drinks in between, on a four-weekly seasonal menu. Residents can eat in the dining room, the conservatory or their own room. The operator says staff complete training in manual handling, first aid, infection control and food hygiene. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Inadequate overall in its 2026 report. It rated Safe and Well-led as Inadequate, and Effective, Caring and Responsive as Good.
