It sits on the outskirts of Elgin on Pluscarden Road, in four acres of grounds and gardens that are secluded and quiet. Residents are encouraged to stay independent where possible, and care is tailored to each person. Activities include musical afternoons, arts and crafts and exercise sessions, and families are welcome to take part in life at the home.
The Care Inspectorate, which regulates the home in Scotland, graded how well people's wellbeing is supported and how well care and support is planned as Good. It graded the setting, the staff team and the leadership as Very good.
