About
The Graylyns is a 16-bed residential care home in North Pembrokeshire, between Fishguard and Haverfordwest. It was founded in March 1998 by Graham and Lynne after a family member's experience of a larger care home left them wanting a smaller, more personal setting. The home supports older people with mental health, cognitive and physical health needs, including dementia. It sits in countryside with views towards the Preseli Hills.
The home also has one room for pre-booked short-term respite stays of up to six weeks. The room overlooks an enclosed courtyard garden and has separate toilet facilities next door, reached without going through the room. Respite is not available from 24 December to 1 January, and guests need a good level of mobility, as there are low-level steps throughout the building. Care Inspectorate Wales graded the home Good for well-being, care and support, environment, and leadership and management.
