The Daley Care Centre, operated by Cygnet Health Care, is a nursing home in the countryside at Deepcar, about 10 minutes from Sheffield city centre. Its 24 ground-floor bedrooms suit people with limited mobility or complex physical health needs.
The home provides neurological rehabilitation and complex care for adults with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and complex neurological conditions. Facilities include a fully equipped therapy gym, a kitchen for practising everyday living skills, and dedicated therapy rooms in a recently refurbished building. An interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, psychology and medical staff provides support. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Requires Improvement overall in its 2023 report, with the same grade for each of the five key questions.
