About

The Burren is a newly built specialist care home in Bristol, South West England, with 78 registered beds. It cares for adults with complex neurological, physical and mental health conditions, and its listed client groups are mental health and older people aged 65 and over. Residents are placed in self-contained suites, each led by a senior nurse, in the suite that matches their assessed needs. Separate lodges provide different specialist care, including neuro-rehabilitation and complex dementia care.

Bedrooms are en-suite and residents are encouraged to personalise them. Communal living and dining rooms sit alongside quieter spaces for visitors or rest, and the gardens are open to residents, who can help look after them. The home works with Nordoff and Robbins on bespoke music therapy sessions and holds accreditation from the Brain Injury Group.
