About
Tenby House is a residential care home for older people, including those living with dementia, on a quiet, tree-lined road in West Worthing. The home occupies an Edwardian building that has been extended, and most of its bedrooms are en suite. A passenger lift serves the upper floors. Residents have two lounges, one quieter for reading or listening to music and one for conversation and television, as well as a separate dining room. Outside, there is a lawned garden and a courtyard garden with a greenhouse that residents help to look after.
Activities include painting, arts and crafts, cake decorating and music, and the home arranges outings. Care plans are reviewed regularly, and the home aims to support residents' independence and dignity. The Care Quality Commission rated Tenby House Good overall in its 2026 report, with Good ratings for safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led care.
