About
St Andrews House is a residential care home in Coventry, West Midlands, for older people aged 65 and over, with 35 registered beds. The home's trustees agreed a final phase of refurbishment to the first floor of the South Wing. This work creates an apartment for a couple wishing to downsize, along with a storage area for equipment and an archive of the home's records.
The refurbishment was the last stage of a project that began in 2010 and was scheduled to finish by the end of November 2018, at which point every part of the building would have been redeveloped. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Requires Improvement overall in its 2024 report. It gave the same grade to each of the five key questions: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
