About

Springhill Care Home is a short walk from the centre of Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire, set back from the road within landscaped grounds. Its original part is a listed Georgian building, and all 61 bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms. The home provides residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. Its facilities include a cook school, a residents' salon and a tuck shop set up by staff, and its own minibus takes residents on local trips.

A £450,000+ refurbishment in 2018 renewed the roof, stonework and windows and redecorated the building throughout. The Care Inspectorate has graded the home Good for wellbeing support, care planning, setting, staff team and leadership.
