About

Service to the Aged, known as SAGE, is a care home in Barnet, north west London, founded in 1992 to support frail and elderly members of the Jewish community who need care and medical attention, whether or not they can pay. The home has 60 registered beds and offers nursing and respite care, along with a specialist Alzheimer's Unit with 20 places. It is close to public transport, shops, synagogues and communal facilities on Golders Green Road. Residents are supported by an activities co-ordinator, a programme of music and entertainment, and volunteers. Morning prayer visits to Kinloss Synagogue are arranged for residents living with dementia. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Good overall in its 2024 report, with Good ratings for safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led care.
