About

Riccall House Care Home is a converted vicarage in the centre of the village of Riccall, between York and Selby. It cares for older men and women, including some people living with dementia, and it also welcomes day care guests. Care is provided around the clock, every day of the week, and is tailored to each resident. The home has 18 registered beds.

The building has a courtyard garden, and the home runs a range of activities through the week to encourage interests and socialising. The registered manager, Michelle Douglas, has worked at the home since 2002 and has managed it since August 2021. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Good overall in its 2022 report, and gave Good ratings for all five key questions: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
