About
Oaken Holt Nursing and Residential Home is a care home with 59 registered beds, set within the Oaken Holt Estate in Oxfordshire, to the west of Oxford and close to Farmoor Reservoir. It provides residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as respite and end of life care for older people, on both permanent and short-term bases.
Residents have access to lounge areas, a café, a hair salon, landscaped grounds and an enclosed courtyard garden. Bedrooms are en suite, and some are garden view rooms or couple's suites. An activities team arranges social events, church services and outings in the home's minibus. The Coach House and Wytham House, which specialise in dementia care, are also on the estate. The Care Quality Commission rated the home Requires Improvement overall in its 2025 report. It rated the home Good for effective, caring and responsive care, and Requires Improvement for safe care and for well-led care.
