About

Norton House is a family-owned care home in Elland, West Yorkshire, providing residential and respite care across 27 registered beds. The building is older and has considerable character, so bedrooms vary in size and features. Bedrooms have plasma smart TVs and carpeted floors, and many have dimmable LED lighting. Bathrooms include a waterfall shower and a large bath. Shared areas include a bar space and an upright piano.

The home is close to the M62 and local bus routes but set back enough to be quiet. Residents take part in a programme of activities and regular outings into the surrounding area. Visits from a hairdresser and chiropodist can be arranged at an additional cost. Jillie-Jo has managed the home since 2021. The Care Quality Commission rates Norton House Good overall (report published 2020), with its Responsive area graded Requires Improvement.
