About
Meadowbrook Care Home in East Dunbartonshire provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 106 residents. The purpose-built home is divided into four self-contained units across two floors, each with its own lounges and dining areas. One of these, the Mulberry Suite, has recently been refurbished. The building has lift access to all floors and is fully wheelchair accessible.
Residents have single bedrooms with private en-suite shower rooms. An enclosed sensory garden has raised planters, herb beds and seating, and a walkway known as the Secret Garden offers a quieter place to sit outdoors. Residents can take part in group activities, including music and gentle exercise sessions, and therapy pets visit regularly. The Care Inspectorate graded the home's wellbeing support, staff team and leadership Good, and its care planning and setting Adequate.
