Laurels Lodge Care Home is a 45-bed home in the City of Aberdeen that provides dementia, residential, nursing and respite care. Dementia care is the home's specialist focus, and its team aims to create a caring, comfortable and stimulating environment, taking time to learn about each resident's likes and dislikes and creating Memory Books for them.
The home has four small units, and every room is en-suite. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms, and the home includes a themed Sweetie Shop and Pub that residents and visitors use. Surrounded by trees, the gardens have raised flower beds and seating areas. Care is provided around the clock, and staff receive ongoing training and development. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time.
