About

Kitnocks House is a nursing home in Curdridge, near Botley and Southampton in Hampshire, with 63 registered beds. It is divided into four communities, each designed for residents with complex care and neurological needs. Some are single-sex, for men or for women, and the home also has very small, quieter communities for people who prefer a calmer setting. Each has its own nurses and health care assistants, overseen by two Clinical Managers and the Home Manager.

Bedrooms are spacious, all with en suite facilities, and residents are encouraged to personalise them. There are gardens where residents can spend time outdoors and, if they wish, help look after them, along with a garden room and quiet spaces for visitors or rest. Music sessions run in partnership with Nordoff and Robbins, and activities are developed with the National Activity Providers Association. The Care Quality Commission rates the home Good overall, with Good in all five key questions.
