The inspection examined wellbeing, leadership, the staff team, the setting and how care and support is planned. Grades of "very good" and "good" were given across several of these areas.
Inspectors spoke with residents, relatives, staff and managers, observed daily life, and reviewed records and feedback from visiting professionals. Their findings noted that staff treat people with kindness and compassion, that the home focuses on supporting independence and reablement, and that leaders keep good oversight of the service. The manager, Kathleen Cruickshank, said the team had carried out two years of targeted improvement work before the report.
