Staff were described as safely recruited, well inducted and competent, and people said they felt safe and enjoyed the meals, which offered choice and encouraged independence. - Meals were enjoyed and offered with choice, and people were supported to eat and stay independent at mealtimes
- Staff were safely recruited and had a thorough induction and support before working with people
- Electronic medicines records were found to be robust and effective
- Paper records for creams and ointments were not completed or used effectively
- Audits did not identify and monitor problems found during the inspection, and action on fire risk concerns was not taken in a timely way
- Care records and risk assessments were not always up to date, so it was not always clear people received the support they needed
