About

Holmesview is a purpose-built nursing home on Holmes Road, lying between Broxburn and Uphall in West Lothian. The building dates from 2011 and provides nursing care, dementia care, palliative care and pre-bookable respite for older people. Its 60 rooms each have an ensuite shower room, internet access, a private TV, a telephone and a nurse call alert system. The grounds include landscaped gardens.

Meals are prepared by a chef-led catering team, who aim to meet personal tastes and dietary needs and use local produce where possible. The menu changes roughly every four weeks. Structured activities are offered, and residents are encouraged to follow their own interests.

The Care Inspectorate has graded the home's setting, staff team and wellbeing support as Very good, and its care planning and leadership as Good.
