About
Hillview Care Home is a 150-bed home in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, providing care for people living with dementia. It sits on the banks of the River Clyde, about eight miles north-west of Glasgow, and brings five purpose-built houses together on one site. Each house has its own character, and residents share a single community through lounges, a cinema room and a reminiscence room.
Residents can personalise their en-suite bedrooms with their own belongings and small items of furniture, and each bedroom has direct access to the garden. Meals are cooked in-house, and the home follows V for Life guidance for vegetarian and vegan diets. An activities coordinator arranges arts and crafts, quizzes, bingo and outings. The Care Inspectorate graded the home Adequate for how well wellbeing is supported, how care is planned, the setting, the staff team and leadership.
