What inspectors found
CQC: GoodReport published 27 July 2023 · Last inspected 12 July 2023
Inspectors carried out a focused review of the safe and well-led key questions after a concern about safe care, and found no evidence that people were at risk of harm from it. Hazell Court, a care home for adults and people living with dementia with up to 55 places, was found to keep people safe, support their choice and control, manage medicines and staffing well, and maintain a clean, well-managed environment. The overall rating stayed good.
- Systems were in place to protect people from avoidable harm and abuse.
- Medicines were given when needed, and monitoring picked up and addressed discrepancies.
- Staff were available when people needed them and were recruited safely.
- Leadership and monitoring systems helped the registered manager and provider identify and fix shortfalls, and feedback about how the service was led was positive.
