About
Greenacres Care Centre Limited provides dementia care for up to 39 residents in individual ensuite rooms, in a purpose-built home in a quiet, leafy suburb of Plymouth. The home was opened in the 1980s, then bought and fully refurbished by Mannamead Care before reopening in 2014. Residents have access to a dining room, a lounge, an activities room and an on-site vintage tearoom, while the grounds of roughly two and a half acres include landscaped gardens with far-reaching views towards Lee Moor and Cornwall. Every room has its own personal safe.
The Care Quality Commission rates the home Good overall, with Good grades for safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness and well-led care, based on its report published in 2021.
