About
Chase House Limited is a care home in Arlesey, Central Bedfordshire, with 50 registered beds. It provides nursing care and support for people living with dementia. Its registered specialist support also covers older people, younger adults, people with physical disabilities and people with mental health needs.
The building dates from around the 1850s, when it was built as a manor house linked to Chase Farm. It was constructed from Arlesey white brick, supplied by a brick yard that operated in the village at the time. The house later served as a doctor's home and surgery, and then the Dando family lived there for several years before it was sold on to another family.
The Care Quality Commission rates the home Requires Improvement overall, and gives the same rating for each of its five key questions: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The report was published in 2026.
