About
Cedar Garden is a purpose-built care home in Ingol, Preston, providing dementia and nursing care for up to 30 men. It supports men living with dementia who have complex needs, including those whose behaviour requires specialised approaches, and residents may also have alcohol dependence, psychosis or stroke. Qualified carers and nurses are on duty around the clock, and the home works with other healthcare professionals.
The building is on a single floor and includes an open-plan sitting and dining area with a large cinema screen, plus a separate quiet lounge and conservatory, both wheelchair accessible. The secure garden has ramp access and raised beds where residents can grow herbs, plants and vegetables in spring and summer. Menus include traditional dishes such as pies, roasts and fish and chips, and meals can be adapted to individual preferences. Fees start from £2500 per week.
