About
Bagatelle is a nursing care home in the West End of Greenock, registered for 39 residents and providing dementia and nursing care in small group living environments. The home overlooks the River Clyde and has established links with local groups, clubs, schools and agencies. Its building dates from 1841. GMAS acquired it in 1988, and it has since been extended and converted into a modern home.
Rooms are furnished, and residents may bring personal items such as ornaments, furniture and photographs. Wifi is available throughout the building. Shared spaces include three lounges, a dining room served by its own kitchen, a relaxation room, a treatment room and a hairdressing salon, and three lifts serve every floor. The home is smoke-free inside and in its grounds. Alison Shaw, Head of Care, oversees the day-to-day running of the home. The Care Inspectorate graded wellbeing support, care planning, setting, staff team and leadership as Very good.
