Almond View Care Home is a 78-bed home in Drumchapel, Glasgow, that provides care for people living with dementia. Its residents formed a choir in 2024 after an idea from activity co-ordinator Pauline Campbell. Residents choose the songs they sing, and the group performs at the home and at other venues. During Alzheimer Awareness Month, the choir performed at Clyde Shopping Centre in Clydebank and raised £156.08 for Alzheimer Scotland, the charity chosen by Holmes Care Group as its Charity of the Year.
