Its care focus is dementia, and it also supports older people, younger adults under 65, people with physical disabilities, mental health needs, sensory impairments, learning disabilities, substance misuse and eating disorders.
The agency is part of the wider Alcedo Care group, which provides nurse-led care and support across the North of England and Wales, in people's homes and in community-based settings. The group states that its aim is to help people live fully and remain as independent as possible. It reports an extensive branch network and more than 1,000 qualified care professionals.
